YG-1 D1206 is a long-series HSS Morse taper shank twist drill with a steam-tempered black oxide finish. Designed for deep-hole drilling, it is specified for steels, cast steels, grey cast iron, malleable cast iron and graphite. Its Morse taper shank is paired with the long-series geometry specified for this drill family. The steam-tempered black oxide finish is specified throughout this vapour-treated drill series. D1206 follows DIN 341 and combines a long-series format with HSS construction. This family covers 13 to 30 mm diameters with Morse taper numbers one through three. Select the appropriate diameter and taper number to match the machine spindle and required hole size.
