Excision produces friction saw blades for stationary or flying cutting of pipes and profiles in carbon steel such as St37, St52 with a hardness between 300 and 600 N/mm^2.
We offer a range of dimensions and all blades can be used on machines from leading manufacturers which employ friction technology, such as Abbey, Etna, Dreisten, Mannesmann, Oto Mils, MTM, Vai Seuthe, TRM and Trennijaeger. Unlike Circular saws for slow-moving machines, friction saws work at a higher rate, they heat up the cutting zone and start cutting when the material reaches a plastic state. The cutting-off operation is performed dry and disc lubrication need only to be done at the end of the cut to prolongs blade life.
