YG-1 T2552 is a bright HSS-E straight flute pipe tap for JIS II PS threads. It cuts straight pipe internal threads for pressure-tight joints in compatible pipe-threaded components. The series provides a 3.5P chamfer lead for blind and through-hole threading applications. Bright finish and straight flutes suit pipe-thread machining in recommended workpiece material groups. Available PS sizes extend from 1/8 to 2 inches, covering standard thread requirements. Recommended materials include steel, cast iron, aluminium alloys, copper alloys and non-metallic materials. Four flutes are supplied through PS 3/4, while larger sizes use five or six. Choose the required PS thread size to match the intended straight pipe connection.
