Product Description

YG-1 4G MILL SEME01 is a carbide four-flute corner-radius end mill with Y-Coating and multiple-helix geometry. It is designed for machining prehardened steels up to HRc55 in mould and die applications. Multiple-helix geometry on diameters of 3 mm and above helps minimise vibration and cutting-edge wear. Smaller diameters below 3 mm use a 30° helix for compact milling work. The plain-shank selection spans 1 to 20 mm cutting diameters for varied component features. Selected variants provide corner radii from R0.05 to R0.5 for controlled edge transitions. Four flutes support efficient profiling and finishing where a radiused tool corner is required. The tool geometry supports strong cutting ability and wear resistance. This makes it suitable for precision mould components requiring durable edge geometry in prehardened steel.
