Product Description

YG-1 TE703 HSS-E metric cold forming taps feature oil grooves and a nitride finish. They form ISO metric coarse internal threads in suitable soft materials without producing cutting chips. These machine taps suit workpieces with at least 8–10% elongation and require larger pre-drilled holes. The listed range covers M2 to M12 thread sizes with corresponding coarse pitches.

Sizes M2 through M8 use DIN 371 shanks, while M12 uses DIN 376. Each variant has a 60° thread profile and C 6HX thread tolerance. Select the specified tapping drill diameter for the intended formed-thread result. The product is intended for machine tapping applications requiring formed internal threads.
