YG-1 TE713 is an HSS-E M35 metric cold forming tap with oil grooves for ISO metric coarse threads. It forms internal threads in soft materials with at least 8–10% elongation. The series covers M8 × 1.25, M10 × 1.5, and M12 × 1.75 thread sizes.

These taps use DIN 371 dimensions through M10, with DIN 376 dimensions for M12. The C 6HX thread tolerance and 60° thread angle suit standard metric coarse-thread requirements. Cold forming requires larger tapping-drill holes than conventional thread cutting operations. Select the thread size to match the required metric coarse thread. Oil grooves provide the defining geometry of this YG-1 forming tap range.
