YG-1 TY703 is a TiAlN-coated HSS-E M35 metric cold forming tap with oil grooves. It forms ISO metric coarse threads in soft materials with at least 8–10% elongation. Its oil-groove design supports thread forming in both blind and through holes. The C 6HX thread tolerance and 60° thread angle suit standard metric applications. DIN 371 sizes cover M3 to M10, while DIN 376 extends the range. Available variants run from M3 × 0.5 through to M16 × 2. The TiAlN coating identifies this TY703 variant within the YG TAP FORMING range. Use the specified larger tapping drill diameter required for cold forming operations.
