YG-1 TD411 TiN-coated HSS-E metric fine spiral flute machine taps deliver reliable blind-hole threading. They produce ISO metric fine internal threads to DIN 13 in general machining applications. Special flute geometry promotes chip evacuation in blind holes to 2.5 times diameter. Each DIN 374 tap features a 60 degree thread form and C 6H tolerance. The family includes M14 × 1.5 and M18 × 1.5 thread sizes. TiN coating and HSS-E construction suit recommended steel, stainless steel and cast iron materials. The M14 option has three flutes, while the M18 option has four flutes. Both variants are supplied with the specified metric fine thread pitch.
