Product Description

YG-1 G9D67 X-Speed Rougher is a carbide corner-radius roughing end mill with X Coating. Its short-length flat-shank design supports high-feed heavy cutting, plunge milling and pocket milling. Multiple-helix geometry uses four flutes from 6 to 12 mm diameters. Larger 16 and 20 mm tools use five flutes for robust roughing operations. A unique flute design promotes chip evacuation while helping reduce vibration during machining. The optimal roughing tooth profile is designed to reduce cutting forces. Strong end teeth support controlled entry for plunge and pocket milling applications. The series offers 6 to 20 mm cutting diameters with R0.5 and R1.0 corner radii.
