YG-1 E2597 is a long-length, four-flute HSS Co8 flat-shank end mill designed for centre cutting. It provides a practical milling option for non-alloy, low-alloy and high-alloy steels, stainless steel and cast irons. The E2597 series covers 2 to 20 mm cutter diameters with extended overall lengths. The uncoated series is offered with four flutes throughout the listed size range. The centre-cutting geometry enables axial entry during suitable milling operations. The series is also listed for high-alloy and tool steels within the recommended material range. The material guidance also includes stainless steel, grey cast iron, nodular cast iron and malleable cast iron.
