YG-1 GA940 TANK-POWER is a TiAlN-coated HSS-PM two-flute short-length ball nose end mill for high-speed cutting. It is designed to machine carbon steels, alloyed steels and stainless steels in milling applications. Ball nose geometry supports radius-bottom slots, fillets and special contours where curved profiles are required. The 30° helix and two-flute configuration provide the specified cutting geometry for this series. The short-length range covers 1 to 25 mm mill diameters and R0.5 to R12.5 ball radii. Each listed tool has a 0 to −0.03 mm mill diameter tolerance and h6 shank tolerance. Choose this series for steel machining requiring short-length ball nose tools and TANK-POWER coating.
