Designed for general-purpose tapping, this TC473 series produces DIN 13 metric fine threads in shallow holes. Its three-flute geometry supports practical machine tapping where hole depth is limited to 2.0×D. The range covers M4 × 0.5 through M16 × 1.5, with selected alternative fine pitches. Listed sizes include M8, M10, M12 and M14 options with multiple available pitches. Bright finish is specified for the series, with three flutes on every listed size.
