YG-1 Alu-Power E5742 is a solid-carbide, three-flute long-length roughing end mill with a plain shank. Its uncoated geometry provides excellent cutting qualities for aluminium and copper machining applications. The long-length roughing form supports material removal where extended reach is required. A 30° helix and chamfered cutting end complement its roughing design. Available mill diameters span 6.0 to 25.0 mm across the listed E5742 variants. It is intended for milling aluminium wrought alloys, aluminium cast alloys, copper, bronze and brass. The documented geometry includes a cylindrical margin, primary and secondary reliefs, plus a chip pocket. The series sits within YG-1’s solid-carbide Alu-Power end mill range.
