YG-1 EI450 D-Power is a diamond-coated carbide two-flute ball nose end mill with a long-reach neck. It is designed for graphite machining and uses a ball nose geometry with a long-reach neck. An ultra-fine diamond film is specified to support smooth, excellent workpiece surface quality. Harder coating film and excellent wear resistance are stated to increase tool life.
Plain-shank variants cover 2.0 to 12.0 mm mill diameters and R1.0 to R6.0 ball radii. The series specifies a ±0.01 mm tolerance for the ball nose radius. YG-1 also identifies wrought aluminium, Bakelite, plastics, wood and brass as suitable materials. They are also indicated for non-ferrous metals and non-metallic materials.
