The YG-1 CRX S SGED31 is a solid carbide, two-flute DLC-coated square end mill for copper. Special flute geometry supports excellent surface roughness while helping reduce burrs in copper machining applications.
The SGED31 series is also designed for copper alloys, soft graphite, reinforced plastics and other non-ferrous materials. Each plain-shank tool has a 30° helix and square cutting edge for defined milling geometry. Cutter diameters span 1 to 12 mm, covering compact milling work with selected shank sizes. Smaller diameters through 6 mm use 6 mm shanks, while larger sizes use matched shanks. Length of cut ranges from 2.5 to 30 mm across the SGED31 size range.
