YG-1 EI997 D-Power is a diamond-coated carbide two-flute miniature-neck ball nose end mill for graphite machining. The miniature neck profile supports access for detailed ball nose milling in fine graphite features. YG-1 specifies the diamond coating with high film hardness and excellent wear resistance for longer tool life. An ultra-fine coating film helps achieve smooth, excellent surfaces on work materials. Available diameters span 0.2 to 6 mm, with ball radii from R0.1 to R3.0. The series is also specified for wrought aluminium, bakelite, plastics, wood and brass. It suits non-ferrous metals and non-metallic materials where this diamond-coated ball profile is appropriate.
