YG-1 EH831 is a TiAlN-coated carbide multi-flute long-length roughing-fine end mill with a plain shank. It is designed for high-velocity milling where fast chip ejection supports productive material removal. Suitable applications include alloy, tool, carbon, prehardened and stainless steels below 45 HRc. The series material guide also identifies titanium alloys and heat-resistant super alloys.
Plain-shank diameters run from 6 to 20 mm for long-length milling requirements. Smaller 6–8 mm tools use three flutes, while 9–20 mm tools use four. Chamfers are 0.38 mm through 10 mm and 0.55 mm from 12 mm upward. Cutting lengths span 16–38 mm, with overall lengths from 57–104 mm.
