YG-1 EH917 is a carbide multi-flute 45° helix short-length roughing-fine end mill with a plain shank. It is designed for roughing operations in stainless steel, titanium alloys and heat-resistant superalloys. The carbide tool has a TiAlN coating and is suitable for listed materials up to 45 HRc. Four flutes provide the cutting configuration throughout the available 6 to 12 mm diameter range.
The series includes 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm cutting diameters with matching plain shanks. Cutting lengths span 7 to 16 mm, while overall lengths span 54 to 73 mm. Each listed cutter includes a 0.15 to 0.20 mm chamfer. EH917 provides a short-length option for multi-flute roughing-fine milling applications.
