YG-1 E2573 is a HSS Co8 three-flute short-length end mill with a flat shank. Designed for general milling, it is recommended for steel, stainless steel and cast iron applications. The series offers 1 to 40 mm diameters for short-length milling requirements across workshop and production tasks. Catalogue recommendations rate non-alloy, low-alloy, high-alloy and tool steels as excellent machining materials. Grey, nodular and malleable cast irons are also rated excellent for this tool. Good suitability is indicated for aluminium alloys, copper alloys, non-metallic materials and heat-resistant superalloys. The flat shank configuration identifies this E2573 family within YG-1 general HSS end mills.
