YG-1 GM817 X-Power Pro is a long-length, four-flute solid-carbide square end mill with Y-Coating. It is designed for milling tool steels, alloy steels, mould steels and other hardened materials. Four flutes support better workpiece finishes and increased productivity in suitable machining applications. The 30° helix and square geometry suit long-reach milling where flat-bottomed profiles are required.

Plain-shank diameters span 2.0 to 20.0 mm, providing lengths of cut from 8 to 55 mm. Overall lengths range from 40 to 110 mm throughout the GM817 family. The Y-Coating complements solid-carbide construction for the specified steel machining range. Choose this YG-1 end mill for steel machining demanding extended reach and square-end cutting.
