YG-1 TE733 is an HSS-E metric fine cold forming tap with oil grooves and nitride treatment. It forms C-profile 60° internal threads for compatible ductile workpieces in machine tapping applications. Oil grooves provide a dedicated lubricant path through the forming process. The HSS-E construction, nitride treatment and 6HX tolerance define the series specification. It is suited to applications requiring metric fine threads in compatible materials with sufficient elongation. Available variants are M10 × 1.0, M14 × 1.5 and M16 × 1.5. Selected variants use DIN 371 or DIN 374 dimensional configurations. Recommended tapping drill diameters are 9.5 mm, 13.25 mm and 15.25 mm respectively.
