YG-1 TC163 HSS-E metric spiral flute machine taps are bright tools for blind-hole threading aluminium wrought alloys. R45 flute geometry and large chip gullets guide chips away, helping prevent clogging in threading operations. These machine taps cut ISO metric coarse threads, providing a focused solution for aluminium component manufacture. Form C lead and 6H thread tolerance support the series’ specified thread-form configuration. The TC163 range covers M2 to M30, including DIN 371 shanks through M10 and DIN 376 from M11. Two or three flutes are specified according to the selected thread size. The bright surface treatment is specified throughout this dedicated YG TAP ALU series.
