YG-1 TM903 HSS-PM metric coarse spiral flute machine taps are bright-finish tools for titanium alloys. They cut metric coarse internal threads and use spiral flutes for blind-hole tapping. Interrupted flutes reduce contact area and tapping torque while supporting improved chip flow. The bright finish helps prevent swarf sticking to flutes in unalloyed titanium. Available sizes span M2 to M16, with pitches from 0.4 to 2.0 mm. A 6H thread tolerance and 2.5×D tapping depth complete the TM903 configuration. Powder metal substrate provides the HSS-PM construction specified for this specialist tap series. Choose the required listed metric coarse thread size for titanium and titanium alloy machining.
