YG-1 TZ903 is a TiAlN-coated HSS-PM metric spiral flute machine tap for titanium alloys. Special flute geometry supports blind-hole tapping by evacuating chips effectively from the threaded hole. The series produces ISO metric coarse threads and is rated excellent for titanium alloys. It is suited to machine tapping operations requiring controlled chip removal in blind holes. YG-1 also rates the series good for heat resistant super alloys. Listed sizes cover M2 to M24, with pitches ranging from 0.4 to 3.0 mm. DIN 371 applies from M2 through M10, while DIN 376 covers M11 through M30. The TiAlN coating is specified throughout the supplied TZ903 variant family.
