YG-1 TY422 HSS-E M35 metric gun point taps are TiAlN-coated for through-hole threading. They cut ISO metric coarse threads in through holes up to 3.0×D deep. The available range covers M3 through M30 metric coarse thread sizes. DIN 371 applies from M2 to M10, while DIN 376 covers M11 to M30. Its thick web is intended to support higher cutting speeds than other taps. Each tap uses the ISO metric coarse thread form specified to DIN 13.
