YG-1 4G Mill SEM846 is a two-flute, 30° helix rib ball end mill with extended neck geometry. This solid carbide milling cutter is intended for high-speed cutting of pre-hardened steels up to HRc55. The ball nose cutting edge is suited to precision rib processing and contoured milling operations. Y-Coating supports the SEM846 series for carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels and cast iron. Two flutes and a 30° helix provide the specified geometry for this series. The range spans 0.1 mm to 12 mm diameters, with radii from R0.05 to R6.0. Select the required SEM846 variant for extended-neck ball nose milling in compatible materials.
