YG-1 CRX S SGED27 is a solid-carbide, two-flute ball nose end mill with DLC coating. It is designed for machining copper, copper alloys, soft graphite, reinforced plastics and non-ferrous materials. The extended-neck geometry provides reach around workpiece features in detailed milling applications. A 30° helix and plain shank provide the defined configuration throughout the SGED27 series. Mirror-finished cutting edges support excellent surface roughness, while tight radius tolerances support accurate ball-nose profiling. Available ball radii run from R0.25 to R6.0, with a two-step taper neck below R0.5. The series suits copper machining where controlled finishes and precise radius geometry are required.
