YG-1 TD874 is a TiN-coated HSS-E UNF spiral point combo tap for multi-purpose machine tapping. Its spiral point design makes this machine tap suited to through-hole UNF threading applications. It provides Unified Fine thread sizes from #4–48 UNF through to 1–12 UNF. TD874 combines 2B thread tolerance, B thread form and a 60° thread angle.
Smaller sizes #4 to 3/8 use DIN 371 shanks, while 7/16 to 1 use DIN 374. The TiN coating distinguishes the TD874 series within YG-1’s multi-purpose combo tap range. Special tap geometry is designed for correct thread profiles and long tool life.
