YG-1 TE723 is an HSS-E metric cold forming tap with oil grooves for ISO metric coarse internal threads. It is suitable for thread forming in soft materials with at least 8–10% elongation. DIN 371 dimensions cover M2 through M10, while DIN 376 covers the M12 option. Available threads span M2 × 0.4 to M12 × 1.75, combining selected coarse metric pitches. Thread lengths range from 8 to 24 mm and overall lengths from 45 to 110 mm. Every selected variant specifies a matched tapping drill diameter for accurate pre-drilling preparation. Cold forming requires larger pre-drilled holes than normal sized holes.
