YG-1 TC834 is a bright HSS-E UNC spiral point combo tap with patented special geometry. It produces Unified Coarse threads for multi-purpose machine tapping in suitable steels, cast irons, aluminium and copper alloys. The special tap geometry supports correct thread profiles and long tool life. This TC834 family has a 60° thread angle, Form B profile and 2B thread class. The available UNC range spans #4-40 through to 1-8, covering fine small threads through larger coarse sizes. DIN 371 applies from #4 to 3/8, while DIN 376 covers 7/16 to 1 inch. Each listed Bright TC834 variant uses three flutes and has its specified tapping drill diameter.
