YG-1 TY313 is a TiAlN-coated HSS-E metric spiral flute machine tap for hardened steel. It cuts metric coarse internal threads in blind holes, using special flute geometry for chip evacuation. An R40 spiral flute and C chamfer lead support controlled tapping to a maximum 2.5xD depth. The TY313 family covers M2 × 0.4 through M30 × 3.5 metric coarse thread sizes.
Models from M2 to M10 follow DIN 371, while M12 to M30 use DIN 376. TiAlN coating complements the HSS-E construction for dedicated hardened-steel threading applications. The design provides a practical choice for machine tapping hardened steels where blind-hole chip removal matters.
