YG-1 TD711 is a TiN-coated HSS-E metric spiral flute machine tap for blind holes. The 40° helix and special flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation during general-purpose internal threading. Designed for 2.5×D hole depths, it produces C-form metric threads to 6H tolerance. TD711 taps use DIN 371 and DIN 376 shank standards with a 60° thread angle. TiN coating complements the HSS-E construction for workshop machine-tapping applications. Available listed sizes span M3 × 0.5 through M30 × 3.5. Selected variants cover common coarse metric pitches from 0.5 to 3.5 mm. Use the spiral flute form where chips must be lifted from blind threaded holes.
