YG-1 TC727 is a bright HSS-E BSP-G Whitworth pipe thread machine tap for blind holes. Its special flute geometry promotes chip evacuation while cutting 55° G BSP threads. Made to DIN 5156, it uses the DIN ISO 228/1 Whitworth pipe thread profile. TC727 is recommended for non-alloy, low-alloy, high-alloy and stainless steels, plus cast irons. It is also suitable for aluminium wrought alloys, aluminium cast alloys and copper alloys. Available sizes run from G1/8 at 28 TPI through to G1 at 11 TPI. The six available sizes cover common G BSP pipe thread requirements. Select it for blind-hole BSP-G threading where controlled chip evacuation is required.
