YG-1 DHM15 Dream Drill MQL Type is a 15xD solid carbide drill with coolant holes for deep-hole machining. It has TiAlN coating, polished flutes and an end mill shank for MQL drilling. The 4-facet point supports good centring capability, while optimised special flutes help remove chips productively. Coolant holes and polished flutes are designed to enhance chip evacuation during deep-hole drilling. The DHM15 range covers 3.0 to 12.0 mm diameters, with 6 to 12 mm shanks. Recommended materials include non-alloy, low-alloy and high-alloy steels, tool steels and cast irons. This extra-long series suits applications requiring minimum quantity lubrication and extended drilling reach.
