YG-1 DT692 is an extra-long 20xD HSS-E worm pattern drill with a bright finish. It is designed for deep-hole drilling in soft or long-chipping materials requiring reliable chip evacuation. Five percent cobalt HSS-E construction supports machining of non-alloy and alloy steels. Supported applications also include grey and malleable cast iron plus special aluminium or magnesium alloys.
Parabolic U-shaped flutes provide efficient chip evacuation through deep flute pockets. Available diameters span 3 to 10.2 mm with a plain shank. This deep-hole drill has a 130° point angle and 38° helix angle. Use it for deep holes in the supported material groups.
