YG-1 EL612 is an uncoated HSS-E one-flute square end mill purpose-designed for aluminium. It provides a plain-shank solution for milling aluminium wrought alloys and alloyed cast aluminium. One cutting flute supports a straightforward geometry for aluminium-focused machining applications. The listed family covers 3 to 10 mm mill diameters with an 8 mm shank. Cutting lengths are 12 mm from 3 to 5 mm diameters. For 6 to 10 mm tools, the cutting length is 14 mm. Overall length is 60 mm through 7 mm, then 80 mm from 8 mm. The square-end format suits milling where a flat-bottom profile is required.
