YG-1 G9449 is a TiAlN-coated solid carbide four-flute long-length flat-shank end mill. It is designed for dry milling applications at high temperatures and improved workpiece finishes. The series is recommended for non-alloy, low-alloy and high-alloy steels, stainless steel, and cast iron. Its four-flute geometry supports finishing-focused milling where a longer reach is required. Supplied variants cover 2 mm to 20 mm mill diameters with plain flat shanks. Shank diameters are manufactured to h5 tolerance for controlled toolholding fit.
The square-end cutting geometry provides a practical choice for general-purpose milling operations. TiAlN coating supports dry machining in elevated-temperature cutting conditions. Choose the appropriate diameter and reach from the available G9449 flat-shank range.
