YG-1 TC254 HSS-E UNF gun point machine tap delivers higher-speed through-hole threading in steel. Its thick web supports more cutting speed than other taps, as specified for this series. The bright-finish tap range covers UNF sizes from #5–44 to 1–12. TC254 taps use three flutes through 3/8–24 UNF, then four flutes for larger sizes. The family is supplied to DIN 371 for smaller sizes and DIN 374 above 3/8. Each variant is specified with a 60° thread angle and 2B thread class. YG TAP STEEL tools serve steel materials and other long chip-forming materials. Tapping drill diameters extend from 2.7 mm to 23.25 mm.
