YG-1 TC283 HSS-E (M35) metric gun point machine taps are built for hardened-steel through-hole threading. They combine a spiral point geometry with a thick web for productive through-hole tapping. Suitable for holes up to 3.0×D deep, they suit hardened steel machining applications. The series provides ISO metric coarse threads from M2 × 0.4 through M30 × 3.5. The bright-finish taps have a B chamfer lead, 6H thread tolerance and 60° thread angle. Nominal diameters span M2 to M30, with matching metric coarse pitches listed for each size. Thread lengths range from 8 mm to 40 mm across the available sizes.
