YG-1 TD127 is a TiN-coated HSS-E metric machine tap designed for through holes. It produces ISO metric coarse threads with a 60° thread angle and 6H class. The thick web supports higher cutting speeds than other taps in suitable through-hole applications. TD127 taps suit general machining of steels, stainless steels, cast irons, aluminium, copper alloys, and plastics. Available thread sizes run from M2 × 0.4 to M12 × 1.75. Each listed variant has a 3.0×D thread length for useful threading reach. DIN 371 construction provides a practical option for production threading requirements. TiN surface treatment identifies the coated TD127 option within this machine tap range.
