YG-1 TD728 is a TiN-coated HSS-E BSP(G) spiral flute pipe tap for blind holes. Designed for general-purpose machine tapping, it cuts straight Whitworth pipe threads in steel, stainless steel and cast iron. Form C lead and spiral flutes support chip evacuation when tapping blind pipe-threaded components. TiN coating reduces friction and improves wear resistance for dependable workshop threading. Available G1/8 to G1 sizes cover 28, 19, 14 and 11 TPI requirements. The six-size range includes G1/8, G1/4, G3/8, G1/2, G3/4 and G1 thread options.
