The YG-1 4G MILL SEMD98 is a solid carbide ball nose end mill with Y-Coating. Its two-flute, 30° helix geometry supports high-speed cutting of pre-hardened steels up to HRc55. The ball nose profile is suited to profiling work requiring controlled radii and contoured surfaces. Y-Coating provides the defining surface treatment for this 4G MILL end mill series. The range covers ball radii from R0.05 to R12.5 for detailed through to larger-radius machining. Select the required SEMD98 diameter and matching ball radius for the intended milling feature. This series provides a practical option for machining pre-hardened steel components using ball nose geometry.
