YG-1 EIB93 D-Power is a diamond-coated carbide two-flute miniature ball nose end mill with neck. It is designed for graphite machining and detailed ball-nose profiling of formed component surfaces. YG-1 states its ultra-fine diamond film supports smooth, excellent surface results on work materials. High coating hardness and excellent wear resistance are specified to increase tool life significantly. The series also suits wrought aluminium, bakelite, plastics, wood and brass machining applications. Necked geometry provides clearance for precision work where access around formed surfaces is restricted. Selected variants cover 0.4 to 4.0 mm diameters, R0.2 to R2.0 radii, and 4 mm shanks.
