YG-1 TZ933 is a TiAlN-coated HSS-PM metric spiral flute machine tap for blind holes. It produces ISO metric coarse internal threads in nickel alloys, heat-resistant superalloys and titanium alloys. R25 spiral flutes direct chips from blind holes, supporting tapping depths up to 2.5×D. Cutting-edge rake angles and thread relief suit demanding titanium and superalloy threading applications. TiAlN coating identifies this dedicated TZ933 configuration within the YG-1 Ti Ni range. Metric coarse sizes range from M2 × 0.4 to M30 × 3.5. Sizes M2 to M10 use DIN 371 shanks, while M12 to M30 use DIN 376. Three or four flutes are specified according to the selected thread size.
