YG-1 T7552 HSS BSPS taps are straight pipe taps for producing PS internal threads. Designed for pressure-tight joints, these 55° taps cut straight pipe threads in prepared holes. The 55° profile and JIS II tolerance support specified pipe-threading requirements in workshop production. This HSS range covers PS 1/8–28 through PS 2–11 for common straight pipe thread sizes. Available tap sizes use four, five or six flute configurations. Recommended materials include carbon and structural steels, aluminium, bronze, copper, cast iron and tool steels. A bright surface treatment completes the practical design for general metalworking operations. Select the matching PS size and TPI to meet the required thread specification.
