YG-1 TD263 HSS-E M35 metric fine gun point taps are TiN-coated machine taps for steel. The thick-web design supports through-hole tapping at higher cutting speeds than comparable tap designs. Designed for ISO metric fine threads, the series is suitable for through holes to 3.0×D. Recommended work materials include non-alloy, low-alloy and high-alloy steels, tool steels, and stainless steel. Each variant combines a gun point configuration with TiN coating for dedicated machine tapping applications. Available sizes run from M5 × 0.5 to M22 × 1.5, with selected multiple-pitch options. The range includes M8, M10 and M12 variants in more than one listed pitch.
