YG-1 DL509 HSS-E long series deep-hole drills feature bright finish and DH100 worm pattern geometry. It is designed for deep-hole drilling where the long-series format provides extended reach. These straight shank drills are intended for deep holes in non-alloy and alloy steels. They also suit grey or malleable cast iron and special aluminium or magnesium alloys.

Bright surface treatment is specified for every listed DL509 drill variant. Available diameters span 2.0 to 12.0 mm, with flute lengths from 56 to 134 mm. Overall lengths range from 85 to 205 mm within this long series. The range offers a practical selection of metric diameters for matched deep-hole drilling tasks.
