The YG-1 DT693 HSS-E extra-long deep-hole drill features TiAlN coating on its working area. Its DH100 worm pattern supports deep-hole drilling in ferrous materials and selected aluminium or magnesium alloys. The 130° point geometry provides a defined cutting configuration for extended-reach drilling applications. HSS-E construction suits drilling non-alloy steels, alloy steels, grey cast iron and malleable cast iron. This straight-shank drill family covers 4 to 10 mm diameters for practical deep-hole machining requirements. Flute lengths range from 190 to 295 mm, with overall lengths from 280 to 430 mm. Select the appropriate DT693 diameter where extra reach and a TiAlN-coated working area are required.
