YG-1 TB274 HSS-E UNF gun point machine taps feature a thick web for through holes. They produce unified fine threads and are recommended for stainless steel applications. The thick web supports higher cutting speeds than other taps in suitable through-hole work. This series uses a VAP finish and combines DIN 371 and DIN 374 forms. Sizes in this range run from #10-32 UNF to 3/4-16 UNF. Three flutes apply through 5/8-18 UNF, while the 3/4-16 UNF size has four. Select these machine taps for through-hole UNF threading operations. Listed tap sizes use tapping drill diameters from 4.1 mm to 17.5 mm.
