YG-1 TC169 HSS-E UNC spiral flute machine taps are bright finished for aluminium. Special flute geometry promotes chip evacuation when tapping blind holes in aluminium applications. The series produces Unified National Coarse internal threads with a 60° thread angle. It combines DIN 371 sizes from #4 to 3/8 with DIN 376 sizes from 1/2 to 5/8.
Available UNC sizes span #4-40 through 5/8-11, covering eight listed thread sizes. Each thread size has a specified tapping drill diameter for preparation. Two flutes are used through 3/8, while 1/2 and 5/8 versions have three. Choose TC169 for machine tapping aluminium blind holes where controlled chip evacuation matters.
